On March 11th, it was announced that ZTE's in-car 4G communication module has successfully entered mass production and is being first deployed on the SAIC MAXUS New T60 V80 model.

With the support of this chip, the New T60 V80 is equipped with the largest size original 10.1-inch high-definition central control touch screen in its class. Moreover, through SAIC MAXUS's latest generation intelligent connectivity system, it enables functions such as remote control, vehicle monitoring, voice control, and fleet management. s_6edd8b548b82497ab1601162f018d0c3.jpg The communication module installed is the ZM8201 model, developed by ZTE Corporation to meet the requirements of OEMs for independent innovation. It's a vehicle-mounted communication module based on ZTE's self-developed 4G communication chip platform. It covers global 2G/3G/4G networks, with LTE FDD speeds of up to 150Mbps, providing the automotive industry with a safe and reliable in-vehicle networking solution.

Equipped with ZTE's self-developed communication chip, it has passed the AEC Q100 automotive-grade certification, boasting excellent network compatibility and high platform maturity. It has also undergone network certification tests by over 70 operators in various countries worldwide. s_26f1ddad608444178b509a01cd0b4524.png The module features multiple GNSS standards, compact size, low power consumption, and is capable of operating in harsh environments ranging from -40°C to +85°C, meeting automotive-grade requirements. It supports various software interfaces, operating systems, and internet protocols, and is expected to be integrated into more high-end vehicle models in the future.

Against the backdrop of chip shortages and software deficiencies in smart connected vehicles, ZTE's domestically produced chip platform plays a significant role in enhancing automotive supply chain security.
