Pulsestacks: On the global stage, how do you view the importance of original design in Chinese automotive industry?

Zhu Ling: I believe that for all products, especially cars, original design is a necessity, not an option. After decades of development, the Chinese automotive industry has reached a stage where originality is a must. Whether serving as safety cars in international events or being showcased overseas, our products have been recognized because they are products of Chinese design, not imitation. Original design is the key for Chinese cars to go global.

Pulsestacks: In the era of social media, how do you see the direct communication between automotive executives and users?

Zhu Ling: I see this as an era of equal communication, where social platforms provide a direct channel to engage with users. As a product leader, I prefer direct communication with consumers rather than through intermediaries. Such communication is more effective and authentic.

Pulsestacks: What is your view on executives becoming internet celebrities?

Zhu Ling: Executives becoming internet celebrities is a novel phenomenon, but novelty fades. What's important is communication with customers, in whatever form it takes. Without communication, there is no future. Traffic is a result of communication, not the goal. We should speak up, let the truth and direction gradually become clear through continuous communication and debate.
