On April 13th, recent remarks by Yu Chengdong and Lei Jun regarding mobile phone holders have sparked heated discussions among netizens.
Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360 company, also expressed his stance through a video, supporting Lei Jun. He believes Lei Jun has a better understanding of user needs, thinks more comprehensively and meticulously about issues, and bluntly stated that Yu Chengdong is a "staunch straight guy."
Zhou Hongyi pointed out that if your phone isn't used for navigation, it might be taken by your girlfriend for inspection, so your phone should never leave your sight.
Prior to this, at the Huawei Wisdom Life S7 launch event, Yu Chengdong remarked, "At first, I didn't understand why some cars still needed phone holders. Later, I realized it's because their in-car navigation systems aren't powerful enough and they need to rely on phone navigation."
Subsequently, Lei Jun posted on Weibo, stating that Huawei's Yu had mocked the design of Xiaomi's SU7 original phone holder at their launch event and initiated a poll: "Do you support having an original phone holder in your car? Why do you think we should make original phone holders?"
The poll results showed that over 205,000 people chose to support the holder, while only 36,000 people opposed. This indicates that the vast majority of people support Xiaomi's original phone holder design.
