During the Xiaomi L6 launch event on April 8th, there was an error in the specifications of the Xiaomi SU7. We sincerely apologize once again!

We would like to sincerely clarify that Zhiji Automobile did not have any intention to maliciously discredit in this incident.

During Xiaomi's automobile technology conference on December 28th last year and the launch event of Xiaomi SU7 on March 28th this year, Xiaomi Automobile respectively proposed the "800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform" and the "full-range silicon carbide real 800V high-voltage platform." As the specific types of power modules for the front and rear motors were not clearly stated before the release, we conducted multiple investigations based on the publicly available information about the Xiaomi SU7 from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and consulted with experts from relevant supply chain enterprises.

Combining with the mainstream industry technology trends, the research results showed that auxiliary drive asynchronous motors usually use IGBT power modules. Unfortunately, this research result is inconsistent with the actual situation advocated by Xiaomi Automobile officially. We sincerely apologize to Xiaomi Automobile once again.

After the media interview at the Zhiji L6 launch event on April 8th, we noticed the error in the power module information at 22:25 and immediately clarified and sincerely apologized for this information on the Weibo account of joint CEO and spokesperson Liu Tao, '@IM Zhiji Liu Tao,' at 23:04.

Subsequently, the official account '@Xiaomi Spokesperson' issued three official responses at 23:24, 23:38, and 00:10 on the 9th. In line with our respect for Xiaomi's official attitude, we once again posted an apology letter containing clarification content on the official Weibo account of Zhiji Automobile, '@IM Zhiji Automobile,' at 00:47 on April 9th.

Unfortunately, in the three official responses, '@Xiaomi Spokesperson' used morally derogatory words such as "intentional rumor-mongering, smearing, harassment, and lack of decency," escalating the rhetoric to deny the corporate culture and values of Zhiji brand and its parent company SAIC Group.

We want to reiterate that we really didn't have any intention to maliciously discredit, nor do we have the intention or ability to challenge Xiaomi Automobile's overwhelming traffic. As Mr. Lei Jun said, car-making is tough. Zhiji brand sincerely accepts criticism and also hopes that '@Xiaomi Spokesperson' can "show some mercy" as Mr. Lei Jun said!

Technological innovation is definitely the core driving force of progress. Let us join hands to provide consumers with more intelligent new energy products and lead China's new energy products to lead the world!

Once again, we sincerely apologize to Xiaomi Automobile! Sa2fbea2c-89db-4443-9d35-acde84ab969f.png
