It's been revealed that Zhang Xuefeng was born in 1984 in Heilongjiang Province, China, and pursued his undergraduate studies in Water Supply and Drainage Engineering at Zhengzhou University.
When asked what profession he would advise the 18-year-old Zhang Xuefeng to pursue, he responded by saying that it's too late at 18 and that he would rather meet his 16-year-old self. At 16, he ranked fourth in his school and aimed to get into a prestigious 985 university, but his grades plummeted due to being in a relationship around the time of the college entrance examination.
Regarding his admission to the Water Supply and Drainage Engineering program at Zhengzhou University, Zhang Xuefeng mentioned that it wasn't his first choice; his first choice seemed to be computer science.
