At the Yiwu International Trade City in Zhejiang, a wide variety of sports equipment and related derivative products are on display, including jerseys, souvenirs, glow sticks, cheer sticks, basketballs, footballs, table tennis equipment, treadmills, and more.
It's reported that the official wristbands for the Paris Olympics are manufactured in Yiwu, bearing the official logo of the Paris Olympics and "PARIS 2024".
Lin Daolai, a business owner, stated in an interview that these Olympic wristbands are produced by their factory under authorization. Last October, they received an order to produce one million Olympic wristbands, and production began in December. Lin Daolai has already shipped the first batch of 500,000 wristbands to Paris, and the second batch of 500,000 wristbands will be dispatched in the coming days.
Public reports indicate that in the first two months of this year, Yiwu's exports to France reached 540 million CNY, a year-on-year increase of 42%. Among them, the export of sports goods increased by 70.5% year-on-year.
