On May 1st, following Xiaomi, the second brand to announce its April sales performance is XPeng Motors.

Official figures show that in April 2024, XPeng delivered 16,089 vehicles, marking a 99% year-on-year increase and a 24% month-on-month growth, setting a new historical record. The year-on-year growth from January to April reached 111%, maintaining its position as the top-selling Chinese pure electric brand with sales exceeding 200,000 units.

What's even more remarkable is that XPeng has delivered over 240,000 vehicles without any battery fires, continuously setting new safety standards for electric vehicles worldwide.

XPeng currently offers a range of models for sale, including the XPeng X, XPeng 007, XPeng 001, and the newly popular XPeng 009, which sold over 30,000 units within a month of its launch earlier this year.

Recently, the luxurious XPeng 009 was launched, positioned as a high-end executive MPV priced at 789,000 RMB. It features the world's safest second-row seating and a "baby-grade" safety cabin, attracting significant attention upon its release.

At the Beijing Auto Show, XPeng showcased the XPeng MIX, a concept-like vehicle dubbed the "Baby Bus" by enthusiasts. It introduces innovative features such as dual side-opening doors with hidden handles and rotatable seats, sparking imagination. The XPeng MIX is set to launch in the second half of this year, targeting the household market.

In terms of fast-charging infrastructure, XPeng is the only global automaker to proactively deploy the "Three 800s" ultra-fast charging ecosystem, offering 800-volt vehicles, 800-volt batteries (Brick Battery), and the largest-scale 800-volt fast-charging network in the industry.

By the end of April, XPeng had established 1,028 self-built charging stations (including dedicated sites) and launched 471 XPeng charging stations (ultra-fast charging stations), with a total of 2,547 charging piles, making it the industry leader in 800-volt ultra-fast charging infrastructure. s_fffaa0c22af844328e7e6ce16bf6377b.jpg
