Xiaomi SU7 now boasts valet parking capabilities, but can it truly bring the car right to you in the parking lot?

In response to this question, Xiaomi's automotive division stated: No, it cannot.

Officially, Xiaomi clarifies: Currently, the intelligent valet parking feature of Xiaomi vehicles does not support remote summoning of vehicles to specific locations within parking lots.

It's understood that the valet parking feature of Xiaomi SU7 supports creating parking routes of up to 2 km, spanning multiple levels of underground parking facilities.

Based on previous tests, the valet parking feature of Xiaomi SU7 can even identify speed bumps in parking garages, and under favorable conditions, it doesn't brake unnecessarily. In case of obstructing vehicles, it slows down or stops, and it navigates around pedestrians and blocking vehicles like a seasoned driver.

Thanks to its end-to-end model, it promptly reacts to pedestrians and vehicles suddenly appearing in blind spots. Even when encountering unexpected vehicles during demonstrations, it effortlessly handles the situation. Moreover, when navigating narrow roads with oncoming vehicles unwilling to yield, SU7 autonomously reverses to ensure smooth passage.

Upon reaching the designated parking spot, if it's occupied, SU7 autonomously selects an adjacent vacant spot and maneuvers into it swiftly, making it suitable for novice drivers or users who prefer not to park themselves. s_b8089160c3644d4bb1cfe8d675b51e1c.jpg
