Xiaomi stated that the Xiaomi SU7 comes with a wireless charging pad that supports a maximum power of 50W, but the actual charging power for phones may vary depending on the brand/model of the phone and its current state.
For Xiaomi phones, the wireless charging utilizes Xiaomi's proprietary protocol, allowing them to achieve a maximum charging power of 50W on the Xiaomi SU7's wireless charging pad.
However, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, which uses a low-heat, high-efficiency small inductive coil, can only achieve a maximum wireless charging power of 30W on the Xiaomi SU7's wireless charging pad.
For other Android phones using the Qi protocol, the maximum wireless charging power on the Xiaomi SU7's wireless charging pad is 15W.
As Apple phones operate on a specific frequency band of the Qi protocol, they can achieve a maximum wireless charging power of 7.5W on the Xiaomi SU7's wireless charging pad.
When the phone is operating at high power, the wireless charging power will be automatically reduced for thermal protection.
When the phone's battery is nearly full, the wireless charging power will also be reduced for battery protection.
Additionally, placing the phone off-center may also lower the wireless charging power. Adjusting the phone's position can help achieve the maximum wireless charging power.
