On April 15th, it was reported that Citigroup recently released information stating that it predicts Xiaomi Group's SU7 will have a delivery volume of 5,000 to 6,000 units in April, with an annual delivery volume of about 55,000 to 70,000 units.
Additionally, Citigroup pointed out that Xiaomi is expected to incur a loss of 6,800 CNY for each SU7 sold in 2024, with the entire car manufacturing business expected to incur a total loss of 4.1 billion CNY.
Xiaomi Group Chairman's Special Assistant and Deputy General Manager of China Market Department, Xu Jieyun, responded to this report on Weibo.
Xu Jieyun stated: "This information may be significantly off."
It is understood that this report by Citigroup auto analysts dates back to April 2, and may underestimate the hot sales of Xiaomi's SU7.
In the past few weeks, our orders have continued to increase, and we are also working hard to improve delivery capabilities.
Although Xu Jieyun did not provide specific data to refute the report, she indirectly indicated that Xiaomi SU7's sales this year may exceed Citigroup's expectations.
