During the March 28th launch event, Lei Jun announced a specially launched limited edition model, the Xiaomi SU7 Founder's Edition, to thank Mi Fans for their support of Xiaomi's cars.
In addition to the optional standard and Max configurations, the Founder's Edition enjoys exclusive privileges such as special badges and accessories. Due to early production, customization is not available, so deliveries for the related models will take place first.
Today, the first batch of owners will receive delivery, becoming the inaugural owners of the Xiaomi SU7. According to official sources, all 5000 units of the Xiaomi SU7 Founder's Edition have been sold out.
To expedite delivery for all owners, the first batch of Founder's Edition totaling 5000 units adopted an approach of advanced production. Strict standards have been set at every stage of the production, quality inspection, and logistics processes.
"Rest assured, the Founder's Edition vehicles will soon complete all production and quality inspection processes and will be progressively delivered to 29 cities, reaching the hands of users. We appreciate your patience and understanding," said Xiaomi Automotive.
At this moment, Lei Jun posted, "Three years ago, ambitious words are now a reality. I will personally deliver each brand-new Xiaomi SU7 to the first batch of owners. Starting today, Xiaomi is officially an automobile manufacturer. Shouldn't you all call me Chief Lei now? Hahaha."
