On April 13th, it has been discovered that some Xiaomi SU7 pre-order customers are in for a pleasant surprise: their estimated delivery times have been moved up!
Order screenshots indicate that previously estimated delivery times of 23-26 weeks have now been revised to 19-22 weeks, effectively advancing by a whole month.
On April 5th, the Xiaomi Car app indicated that the Xiaomi SU7 Max is expected to take 29 to 32 weeks from the date of order locking to complete delivery.
On April 9th, Xiaomi Automotive held a supply chain acceleration meeting for the Xiaomi SU7, attended by dozens of supply chain partner companies. They devised a new capacity enhancement plan and will recalculate estimated delivery timelines according to this new plan.
Under the updated scheme, the delivery times for non-founder editions of the Xiaomi SU7/Xiaomi SU7 Max are expected to be brought forward, with deliveries set to commence gradually in late April. Deliveries for the Xiaomi SU7 Pro are scheduled to commence gradually in late May.
Previously announced delivery times during the launch event were: Xiaomi SU7/Xiaomi SU7 Max to be delivered by the end of April, and Xiaomi SU7 Pro to be delivered by the end of May.
A car blogger revealed this week that production capacity for the Xiaomi SU7 has started to increase, with daily output reaching over 400 units.
As for the remaining orders for the Founder's Edition, Xiaomi has also stated that they are working tirelessly to improve delivery efficiency and will deliver them as soon as possible.
According to the latest update on the Xiaomi Car app, it is estimated that delivery of the Xiaomi SU7 Max, from the date of order locking, will still require 27 to 30 weeks to complete.
