According to domestic media reports, employees of several car rental companies in Wuhan, Guangzhou, and Hefei revealed that the daily rental price of Xiaomi SU7 is currently between 2000 and 3000 CNY.
The head of a car rental company in Wuhan stated that Xiaomi SU7 has been heavily inquired about these days, receiving four to five orders since delivery.
Initially, the daily rental price was just over 1000 CNY, but as more people inquired, it increased to over 2000 CNY. Even so, the demand for rentals still exceeds the supply.
Xiaomi SU7 rented out to the public is mainly used for static displays, media evaluations, and brand promotion, and is not currently rented out for personal driving.
Furthermore, they do not recommend individuals to rent cars for experience at the moment, as the daily rental of 2,000 to 3,000 CNY is already comparable to supercar models like Lamborghini and Ferrari.
In the future, with more Xiaomi SU7 deliveries and an increase in available rental vehicles in the market, the rental prices will definitely decrease. Normally, for a car worth two to three hundred thousand CNY, the daily rental should be around 500 CNY.
In addition, Xiaomi's official car division previously stated that they are currently experiencing a surge in orders, and orders will be produced and delivered according to the time of final order locking.
The Xiaomi Car app shows that the delivery period for the standard version, Pro version, and Max version of Xiaomi SU7 has all been extended, with the fastest being 13 weeks and the slowest being 27 weeks.
For friends who want to experience Xiaomi cars, if they want to rent at the normal market price, they are expected to wait for 1 to 2 months.
