On April 15th, it was reported that the Xiaomi SU7 Founder's Edition has been delivered for about half a month. Many car owners have not found the camera defogging function in the vehicle system, worrying that it may not provide visual support on rainy days.
In response to this, Xiaomi Automotive explained the related issues in the latest Q&A session.
All models of the Xiaomi SU7 come standard with 11 driving assistance cameras, among which the front dual-camera will automatically activate the heating wire in its window section when obstruction is detected, for heating and defogging/rain/snow removal, all without manual operation.
If the window is dirty with mud or other stains, manual cleaning is still required.
Additionally, the Xiaomi SU7 Pro and Xiaomi SU7 Max are equipped with a laser radar. When obstruction is detected, the heating function of the laser radar window will also be automatically activated, without the need for manual operation.
Therefore, car owners need not worry about defogging issues, as the SU7 will handle it automatically, but attention should be paid to lens cleanliness.
