Tonight, a spokesperson for Xiaomi stated that we have noticed a video posted by a user on social media showing the bumper paint peeling off the Xiaomi SU7 Max two days after delivery. Upon verification, it has been found that there are inaccuracies in the content of the user's video.

It is reported that this user is not the first owner of the Xiaomi SU7 Max, nor did they take delivery just two days ago. s_ee92c26d92224ef9b790d606662df2db.jpg The peeling paint issue was caused by the original owner applying a full car color-changing film. Subsequently, when the user removed the film, it led to the paint on the inner side of the bumper becoming sticky and peeling off, which is not a problem with the product when it left the factory.

Xiaomi officials stated that the Xiaomi SU7 bumper adopts a three-layer spraying process of primer, topcoat, and clearcoat, ensuring consistency with the vehicle's color.

However, improper application or removal of film during use can potentially damage the paintwork. Please be aware of this, and thank you for your attention and support.

It's worth mentioning that Lei Jun also announced today that the Xiaomi SU7 has received over 70,000 orders as of April 20th, and it is expected that Xiaomi's annual delivery target will exceed 100,000 units. s_b61471468cdf4e67a68d951cadcb334a.jpg
