April 7th, Xiaomi unveiled its latest offering: the 120W Gallium Nitride "Little Pudding" charger set, priced at just 199 CNY for its debut, which includes a 1.5-meter dual USB-C 6A fast charging data cable.
In terms of design, the charger adopts a sleek rounded shape, measuring 343453mm. With a USB-C interface at the top, it shrinks the volume by 42% compared to Xiaomi's conventional 120W gallium nitride charger, making it more convenient to carry on the go.
In terms of compatibility, in addition to supporting PS3.0/2.0 and QC3.0/2.0, it also supports the UFCS 1.0 integrated fast charging protocol, which can provide high-power fast charging for other non-Xiaomi phones, solving the problem of incompatible fast charging between different brands.
Reportedly, the charger can intelligently recognize output currents, capable of charging devices such as headphones, tablets, watches, and laptops, providing up to 65W fast charging for laptops.
To ensure charging safety, the Xiaomi 120W Gallium Nitride "Little Pudding" charger features a fire-resistant and high-temperature-resistant casing, supports intelligent temperature control, and has multiple protection mechanisms including overvoltage protection, overtemperature protection, overcurrent protection, and short circuit protection.
Note: UFCS, the Unified Fast Charging Standard, stands for "Mobile Terminal Unified Fast Charging Technology Specification," issued by the Telecommunications Terminal Industry Association. As China's first fast charging technical standard, the protocol aims to address the current complexity and incompatibility issues among fast charging standards in the market.
