Today, on March 18th, Qualcomm officially unveiled the third generation of its Snapdragon 8s mobile platform, dubbed as the "Next-Gen Flagship."
Following this announcement, Xiaomi declared that the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will be the global debut device for the third generation Snapdragon 8s, promising deep integration with Xiaomi's Surge OS, delivering a significant leap in imaging, performance, and AI capabilities.
According to reports, the third-gen Snapdragon 8s inherits the same CPU architecture as the third-gen Snapdragon 8 flagship platform, boasting a super core with a frequency of 3.0GHz, four performance cores with frequencies of up to 2.8GHz, and three efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
Qualcomm claims that in GeekBench 6 multi-threaded performance tests, the third-gen Snapdragon 8s outperforms similar positioned competitors, leading by 20% in CPU performance.
Notably, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro marks the first time in the series' history to adopt the Snapdragon 8 series platform, establishing itself as the most powerful Civi model to date.
Digital blogger "Digital Chatter Station" also mentioned today that the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro has elevated its screen, imaging, performance, and design across the board, earning the moniker "Xiaomi 14 lite."
Leaks suggest that the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will also feature top-tier Leica imaging and satellite communication functions typically reserved for flagship devices, offering an enhanced user experience, while sporting a metal mid-frame and glass body.
