On May 26th, Xiaomi Car released the latest Q&A session for its fans.
One user inquired whether purchasing the Xiaomi SU7 Pro would qualify for the 2024 car trade-in subsidy.
Xiaomi Car responded that individual consumers who scrap eligible vehicles and purchase the Xiaomi SU7 Pro will receive a subsidy of 10,000 yuan, as per the notice issued by seven departments including the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Finance regarding the implementation rules for the car trade-in subsidy.
Not only the Xiaomi SU7 Pro but also the standard version and Max version of the Xiaomi SU7 are eligible for this subsidy.
Before January 10, 2025, individuals can apply for the subsidy online by visiting the "National Automobile Circulation Information Management System" website or searching for the "Car Trade-In" mini-program on platforms like Alipay, Douyin, WeChat, and UnionPay.
It is important to note that the scrapped vehicles must be gasoline-powered passenger cars meeting the National Emission Standard III or lower, or new energy passenger cars registered before April 30, 2018 (with a vehicle age of 6 years or more).
Regarding subsidy standards, scrapping the aforementioned vehicle types and purchasing eligible new energy passenger cars will receive a 10,000 yuan subsidy.
For scrapping gasoline passenger cars meeting the National Emission Standard III or lower and purchasing gasoline passenger cars with a displacement of 2.0 liters or less, a subsidy of 7,000 yuan will be provided.
