As time progresses, information about Xiaomi's next digital series—the Xiaomi 15 series—has started to emerge.
Digital blogger @DigitalChatStation mentioned in a leak today: "The new Snapdragon 8G4 device enters its next internal testing phase this month. Key points to watch include whether the new periscope camera and ultrasonic fingerprint technology pass their tests successfully. The strategy of offering 1.5K/2K dual sizes remains unchanged. This generation will feature a new generation of high-density silicon batteries across all models, and the main camera will continue to use a custom 50Mp large sensor solution from OmniVision—a fully realized new technology."
The leak did not specify which series the new device belongs to, but it is speculated to be the Xiaomi 15 series.
According to the leak, the Xiaomi 15 series, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, has entered the next phase of internal testing this month. A key focus of this testing phase is whether the new periscope camera and ultrasonic fingerprint technology pass successfully.
Additionally, the Xiaomi 15 series will continue to offer dual resolution options of 1.5K and 2K, and the entire line will be equipped with a new generation of high-density silicon battery cells to enhance battery performance.
The main camera of the new device will still feature a custom 50Mp large sensor solution by OmniVision, along with a complete suite of new technologies.
A previous leak from this blogger mentioned that the Xiaomi 15 series is expected to advance to a new testing phase in April, finalize some specifications, and is likely to enter mass production in September with an October launch, potentially earlier than the Xiaomi 14 series.

At its core, it utilizes the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, equipped with Xiaomi's circular cold pump cooling system. It has a 32-megapixel front camera and a rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel Leica Ultra Dynamic main camera, a Leica 75mm floating telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel Leica ultra-wide angle lens. In terms of imaging, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 uses OV16F cameras for both the inner and outer front-facing cameras. The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel OV50E main camera, an OV13B ultra-wide-angle lens, an OV60A 2x telephoto lens, and an S5K3K1 5x periscope telephoto lens.
