On May 12th, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro have pushed the official beta upgrade of Xiaomi Surging OS, with version numbers 1.0.38.0 and 1.0.41.0 respectively.
The update log shows that besides optimizing portrait mode blurring and beauty effects, both models have added 5G-A capability.
It is reported that support for 5G-A network is enabled by default, and if you want to disable it, you can do so in Developer Options - Cellular Network Debugging - 5G-A.
To open Developer Options: Go to Settings > My device > All parameters and information > Tap the OS version several times to enable Developer Options. Once enabled, go to Settings > More settings > Developer Options.
Users who are not part of the official beta testing for the Penglai OS on Xiaomi 14/Pro will need to wait for the official updates to be pushed.
