Additionally, there are rumors suggesting that the vehicle will be different from Xiaomi's car, with the main entity being Zhimi Motors. It is expected that the new car will be priced around 100,000 CNY and will officially debut at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show.
In this collaboration, Zhimi Motors is responsible for product definition and styling design, while Chery is responsible for production manufacturing and supply chain cost control, fully leveraging the strengths of both parties.

Official sources indicate that Zhimi Technology is an ecosystem enterprise under Xiaomi Group. In 2021, Dr. Su Jun, CEO of Zhimi, personally assembled an entrepreneurial team to initiate a car manufacturing project.
In 2023, the entrepreneurial team of this car manufacturing project established a partnership with Chery Automobile. Currently, team members have integrated into Chery Automobile to collaboratively develop the new energy vehicle brand, iCAR. Zhimi Technology has no equity or operational affiliation with this car manufacturing project.
