On April 10th, news broke regarding Xiaomi's latest foldable screen phone, the MIX Fold 4. Last August, Xiaomi officially unveiled the MIX Fold 3, which boasted the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor and featured Xiaomi's self-developed hinge mechanism, the Dragon Backbone.
Furthermore, the MIX Fold 3 was equipped with a Leica optical full-focus quad-camera setup, offering users a brand-new experience with foldable screens, starting at a price of 8999 CNY.
In 2024, Xiaomi is set to unveil its latest foldable smartphone, the MIX Fold 4, with detailed specifications leaked by the digital gossip station. Reportedly, the MIX Fold 4 will boast an upgraded screen resolution and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform. The front-facing cameras on both the inner and outer screens will utilize the OV16F sensor.
The main rear camera, OV50E, will feature a 50-megapixel sensor and will be accompanied by an OV13B ultra-wide-angle lens, OV60A 2x telephoto lens, and an S5K3K1 5x periscope telephoto lens, all equipped with Leica imaging technology.
This new offering is believed to be Xiaomi's most powerful foldable smartphone yet. According to the digital gossip station, the new model not only enhances performance and imaging capabilities but also continues the trend of lightweight design, with a significant reduction in weight expected.
It is anticipated that this new product will make its debut in the latter half of this year.
