On March 14th, Xu Fei of Xiaomi Group posted on Weibo, stating that the next Xiaomi smartphone is incredibly powerful, with a plethora of content to be unveiled at the launch event.
Xu Fei further indicated that the upcoming product launch will be hosted by Hu Xinxin, the product manager of Xiaomi's Civi series, suggesting that the new device is likely part of the Xiaomi Civi lineup.
It's worth noting that Xiaomi's CEO, Lei Jun, interacted with netizens and mentioned that the next new product is not Civi 4. Some speculate it might be called "Civi 4 Pro."
Currently, a new Xiaomi device with the model number "24053PY09C" has been certified, believed to be part of the Civi 4 series. It's expected to debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen3 platform.
The Snapdragon 8S Gen3 is built on TSMC's 4nm process. Its CPU architecture consists of one Cortex-X4 super core clocked at 3.01GHz, four Cortex-A720 large cores clocked at 2.61GHz, and three Cortex-A520 small cores clocked at 1.84GHz.
The GPU is expected to be the Adreno 735, with a frequency likely exceeding 900MHz, and an Antutu benchmark score around 1.7 million.
The device is set to be officially launched later this month.
