April 20th, Xiaomi announced the launch of its first French-style refrigerator, the Mi Home 439L French-Door Refrigerator, just in time for the peak renovation season of the first half of the year. Following the trend of other furniture and home appliance manufacturers, Xiaomi, known as a "variety store," has joined the fray.
The Mi Home 439L French-Door Refrigerator is now on the shelves, marking Xiaomi's debut in the French-style refrigerator market, priced at ¥3499.
A French door refrigerator typically refers to a design featuring double doors on top for the refrigeration compartment and double or multiple drawers below for the freezer compartment. While slightly pricier than conventional fridges, they offer a more sensible layout, especially convenient for storing large items in the freezer.
The Xiaomi 439L French door refrigerator comes in an ice feather white exterior, with a refrigeration compartment of 260L, a freezer compartment of 154L, and an additional 25L convertible space.
Featuring a sleek 60cm ultra-thin embedded design, the front of the cabinet is flush without protrusions, supporting 90° right-angle door opening. With front-mounted heat dissipation at the bottom, there's no need for reserved heat dissipation gaps on the sides.
It supports premium maternal and child space, with dry and wet separation storage and eco-freshness technology using water molecule sieving. Built-in silver ion antibacterial deodorizing module absorbs and decomposes odorous molecules in the refrigerator, with an antibacterial rate of 99.99%.
Using a 360° air cooling circulation system, it rapidly and evenly cools while eliminating frost. Equipped with inverter compressor and inverter fan, it achieves first-class energy efficiency, consuming only 0.78 kWh per day with a noise level of 34 decibels. The compressor comes with a 10-year warranty.
