On April 7th, Xiaomi's latest Wi-Fi 7 router, the Xiaomi Router BE3600 Gigabit Edition, officially went on sale at a launch price of 229 Yuan. This marks Xiaomi's most affordable Wi-Fi 7 router to date.
Compared to the Xiaomi BE3600 2.5G Edition released in January this year, the Gigabit Edition ditches the 2.5G network port while keeping other configuration parameters consistent.
The Xiaomi Router BE3600 Gigabit Edition supports Wi-Fi 7 with speeds up to 3600 megabits per second. Utilizing MLO dual-band aggregation technology, it boasts a theoretical peak rate of 3.57 gigabits per second. Compared to Wi-Fi 6, it delivers a 44% increase in actual throughput and a 48% increase in theoretical peak rates.
The router supports 4KQAM technology and enhanced OFDMA, allocating bandwidth resources based on the speed requirements of connected devices.
It's reported that the router is equipped with a quad-core 1.1GHz processor from Qualcomm, boasting 256MB of memory, and a computational power of 10120 DMIPS. It comes with four high-gain Wi-Fi antennas for enhanced signal coverage.
On the interface front, it features four Gigabit Ethernet ports, supporting dual-WAN and dual-LAN aggregation. Users can customize IPTV and gaming network ports according to their preferences.
The router supports Xiaomi's proprietary Mesh networking technology, allowing connection with up to 10 routers. When combined with Xiaomi's seamless connectivity and Mi Home automation technology, it enables effortless whole-house smart networking and IoT integration.
