Introduction: A Domestic Graphics Card for Just 399 Yuan

For those who are devoted to domestic products, the idea of spending 1499 CNY on the Moore Threads MTT S80, which can only play DX11 games, might seem a bit steep.

However, if a domestic graphics card that supports 4K encoding/decoding, has extremely low power consumption, can smoothly run "League of Legends", and comes with 4GB of dedicated VRAM is priced at only 399 CNY, the desire to purchase becomes much stronger.

In June 2023, Moore Threads launched the MTT S80/70, the first domestic graphics card capable of smoothly running DX11 games.

Now, Moore Threads has introduced the entry-level MTT S30, priced at 399 CNY. See125b2f-aba8-41eb-a4cc-1c07abfe07f1.jpg The specifications of the MTT S30 are roughly equivalent to one-quarter of the MTT S80's, equipped with 1024 MUSA architecture cores (stream processors), a GPU frequency of 1.3GHz, FP32 single-precision floating-point performance of 2.7 TFLOPS, along with 4GB of LPDDR4 memory, a 128-bit bus width, operating at 4266MHz, providing a bandwidth of 68GB/s, with a total card power consumption of 40W.

In terms of gaming support, the MTT S30 can run most mainstream DX11 games, but considering that even the MTT S80 struggles to deliver smooth performance, the target users for the MTT S30 are not necessarily gamers.

The most outstanding feature of the MTT S30 is its integration of the MUSA intelligent multimedia engine 2.0, supporting H.264/H.265/AV1 encoding and decoding, combined with extremely low power consumption, and support for X86, ARM, and LoongArch architectures. Therefore, it is very suitable for office and entertainment use.

P.S. Prior to Intel's sixth-generation Core processors, their integrated graphics did not support H.265/AV1 encoding and decoding. The MTT S30 is also suitable for users of these older systems looking for a low-cost upgrade.
