Recently, the world's tallest pile frame, with the largest hoisting capacity, longest pile driving length, and strongest wind and wave resistance, built by China Communications Second Navigation Bureau, held a loading ceremony at the Zhenhua Heavy Industries Jiangsu Qidong Base. This marks the vessel's official transition from segmented construction to assembly on the shipyard. 66556353e4b0c2b5b68d06d9.jpg Construction Site of the Project. The project officially commenced on January 18, 2024, with a total of 81 segments planned for completion by September 30, 2024. This vessel is currently the world's largest piling ship under construction, with a total length of 130.5 meters, a beam of 40.8 meters, a depth of 8.4 meters, and a pile frame height of 150 meters. It is capable of driving piles weighing up to 700 tons with a diameter of 7 meters.

This ship embodies a new design concept for green, low-carbon, and "smart" engineering vessels. It is the first in the industry to apply a supercapacitor-equipped diesel-electric hybrid power DC grid technology, which can further enhance fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. Equipped with a piling positioning system featuring far-sea station differential correction capabilities, it can achieve centimeter-level precision piling in deep-sea operations. Additionally, a piling operation management system has been developed, integrating real-time sensing of hydrological parameters, operational decision support, automatic identification of operational procedures, and automatic generation of piling data.

Once completed and delivered, this "oceanic tool" will provide essential equipment for the construction of deep-sea cross-sea bridges and offshore wind power projects.
