On April 7th, according to domestic media reports, Ms. Ma from Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, sent her million-dollar Porsche Cayenne to a 4S dealership for repairs. However, the vehicle was resold by the dealership to multiple buyers at a price of 820,000 CNY.
Ms. Ma revealed that the dealership presented her with two solutions: either sell her car for 820,000 CNY or pay an additional 380,000 CNY to exchange it for a Panamera.
In response, the Porsche dealership stated that the former employee involved had been detained by the police and claimed that the incident occurred because the customer had expressed an intention to trade in the vehicle.
However, the dealership did not provide a clear explanation as to why the vehicle was taken without authorization during the repair period, merely stating that because Ms. Ma had expressed an intention to trade in, the used car specialist obtained the vehicle's information and keys.
Regarding the sale of the vehicle and whether other employees were involved, the dealership stated that it is currently unable to answer and awaits further investigation by the police.
Nevertheless, the vehicle did not actually leave the premises but was "protected" inside the dealership to prevent further actions.
For Ms. Ma, what started as a routine repair has turned into a legal issue, and she may not be able to retrieve her vehicle during the course of the investigation.
