News on March 15th reports that recently in Baoding, Hebei, a netizen claimed that the screen protector on her mother's phone mysteriously showed a silhouette that looked like a person in traditional attire, appearing faintly visible.
She peeled off the protector and exposed it to hot air, and instantly, a human figure appeared on the screen protector. She mentioned, "It only appears when I breathe on it, and not at any other time."
The woman then contacted the store where she bought the screen protector. The customer service representative stated that they only sell regular protectors without any designs and have never encountered such an issue.
The woman requested a replacement, but the request was not granted.
Some netizens speculated that it could be the logo of a particular brand's screen protector, possibly a gorilla. However, the woman stated she did not purchase that brand, and even if she did, those screen protectors normally do not have any imprint.
Others suggested that it might just be an oily imprint left from the manufacturing process, nothing unusual.
