On April 9th, according to reports, Microsoft is set to launch a new lineup of Windows 11 devices on May 20th, including the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6.
These two devices will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor. According to internal Microsoft documents, Microsoft is highly confident in the Qualcomm chip, believing it outperforms the M3 MacBook Air.
According to Geekbench scores, the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite's multi-core performance reached 15,300 points, while the Apple M3 scored 12,154 points, making the former 21% faster than the latter.
In comparison with Intel, in single-threaded performance, the Snapdragon X Elite is 54% faster than the Core i7-155H at the same power consumption, or 65% lower power consumption at the same performance level. In multi-threaded performance, the Snapdragon X Elite is 52% stronger than the Core i7-155H at the same power consumption, or 60% lower power consumption at the same performance level.
In terms of specifications, the Snapdragon X Elite adopts a 4nm process technology, its Oryon CPU features 12 high-performance cores clocked at 3.8GHz, with support for dual-core enhancement, and a maximum frequency of 4.3GHz.
With its powerful performance, the new Microsoft Surface lineup is eagerly anticipated.
