On May 26th, Wei Jianjun from Great Wall Motors conducted a live stream with popular blogger "Tiger Brother Talks Cars," introducing Great Wall vehicles and engaging with viewers during a road trip.
In the showroom at Great Wall Motors headquarters, Wei Jianjun showcased the Great Wall's flagship model, the "Haval H6."
Wei Jianjun mentioned that Great Wall's SUVs do have slightly higher fuel consumption, attributed to the company's exceptionally high safety standards. The Haval SUVs, like the premium brand Wei, use genuine materials without cutting corners, resulting in a slightly heavier body and higher fuel consumption.
Wei Jianjun cited the example of the chassis of the second generation of the Haval H6. In the front and rear collision tests according to American standards, as well as the 25% offset collision test, it should be among the highest standards of that year.
Consumers rarely experience serious accidents in later use of the vehicle. There was a case where a car owner drove off a mountain, but the owner was not seriously injured and quickly walked out of the car.
Regarding the materials used by Great Wall Motors, Zhao Yongpo, the general manager of the Haval brand, recently stated that the materials used by Great Wall are of good quality. Even if the manufacturing cost is too high and affects overall profitability, Great Wall will never compromise on cost reduction in manufacturing.
