April 24th News - Today, audio brand Watermoon Rain unveiled its first smartphone, the MIAD 01, a full-network 5G HiFi phone priced at ¥2499 (12GB+256GB), which will go on sale on April 25th.
The Watermoon Rain MIAD 01 is positioned as a "5G mobile internet audio terminal" and a "high-fidelity streaming music player."
The smartphone is equipped with a 6-layer gold-plated independent audio circuit board and independent LDO power supply for the audio circuit, featuring both a 4.4mm fully balanced and a 3.5mm single-ended headphone jack.
It boasts dual Cirrus Logic MasterHIFI decoding chips, supporting 4-channel fully balanced output with a dynamic range of 132dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of 117dB. It also supports precision DAC hardware-level digital volume control.
In terms of core specifications, the Watermoon MIAD 01 features a 6.7-inch OLED curved screen with a resolution of 1080P, supporting a 120Hz high refresh rate and a 1920Hz eye-protection high-frequency dimming. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, with a rear-mounted 64-megapixel dual camera setup, running a near-stock Android system.
With a built-in 5000mAh battery, it supports 33W fast charging. The balanced output can continuously play music for 27 hours, and it supports expansion with up to a 2TB Micro SD card.
