On March 25th, it was reported that Volvo has commenced deliveries of its pure electric MPV, the Volvo EM90.

It's reported that the vehicle hit the market on November 12, 2023, with a price tag of 818,000 CNY, making it the most expensive electric MPV on the market today.

The Volvo EM90 features a boxy design, which the company describes as Scandinavian living room style, creating a mobile living space.

The front face adopts a borderless design, adorned with star-shaped perforations. The side profile of the car resembles the Extreme Krypton 009, but with a more minimalist and elegant touch, featuring large-sized dual-tone alloy wheels that enhance its luxurious appeal. The taillights are shaped like Thor's hammer, with the central VOLVO lettering illuminating simultaneously, enhancing the overall recognition of the rear end. In terms of dimensions, it measures 5206mm in length, 2024mm in width, and 1859mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3205mm.

The interior features a minimalist design, equipped with a large floating central control screen that integrates most functions. The seating arrangement consists of six seats, with the second row featuring independent seats, equipped with entertainment screens and small tables.

In terms of safety, the Volvo EM90 features a high-strength cage body design, utilizing various types of high-strength steel to effectively minimize the potential injuries from collision impacts.

Additionally, the vehicle comes equipped with Volvo Cars' air purification technology, capable of removing 95% of PM2.5 particles. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with front and rear dual motors, with a 116kW battery, and a CLTC comprehensive range of 738km.
