Previous leaks suggest that the super-sized model of the vivo X100 series, codenamed "Thanos," will be named vivo X100 Ultra, expected to be unveiled in May, boasting strong product capabilities.
Now, as May officially arrives, there is new information regarding the specific release time of this new device.

Combining previous leaks and the latest speculations, this seems to indicate that the brand-new vivo X100 Ultra should be arriving shortly after the May Day holiday.
Moreover, based on official responses, the new vivo X100 Ultra is expected to see significant improvements in resolution and night photography compared to the Pro version.
Based on the current leaks, the vivo X100 Ultra is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, a Samsung 2K E7 curved screen, a glass body, and support for two-way satellite communication.
Additionally, two new vivo models with the model numbers V2366GA and V2366HA have recently received wireless radio approval. The latter is named "Tiantong-1 satellite mobile communication system terminal."
According to the leaks, these two new models are likely the standard and top-end versions of the vivo X100 Ultra, both supporting 80W wired fast charging. The top-end version is equipped with the Tiantong-1 satellite mobile communication system.
In summary, the vivo X100 Ultra will not come with satellite communication as a standard feature; instead, this functionality will be exclusive to the top-end version.
In terms of imaging specifications, Vivo's Vice President and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, Jia Jingdong, has revealed partial images of the upcoming new product, showing a periscope camera and a Zeiss T* logo. Combining current information, this new product is expected to be the Vivo X100 Ultra.
Based on the existing information, the Vivo X100 Ultra is equipped with proprietary BluePrint Imaging + Zeiss T* coating, with the periscope lens showing promising performance.
In terms of specific parameters, previous leaks indicate that the Vivo X100 Ultra will feature a 50-megapixel LYT900 one-inch main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. The telephoto lens has an aperture of f/1.75-f/2.59 and a zoom range of 14mm-85mm.
Based on this, the pricing of this new device is also noteworthy. Combining with the current leaks, the price of the top-of-the-line version of the vivo X100 Ultra is expected to be in the 8000 yuan price range.
In terms of device pricing, this new product should be positioned in the ultra-high-end segment, which will require it to compete with top-tier flagship models from brands like Huawei and Apple after its release.
In addition, the vivo X100s series, equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ processor, is expected to be released in May alongside the vivo X100 Ultra.
According to current information, the vivo X100s will also feature a 1.5K ultra-narrow straight screen, paired with a metal right-angle frame + glass body design, offering four color options: white, black, blue, and titanium. It will come with a battery of around 5000mAh capacity and support 120W fast charging.
