On March 23, it was announced that vivo will be launching the vivo X Fold3 series foldable smartphones on March 26. The series includes two models, the vivo X Fold3 and the vivo X Fold3 Pro.
The vivo X Fold3 features a groundbreaking carbon fiber spine hinge, weighing only 219 grams and measuring 4.65 millimeters in thickness. Compared to its predecessor, the vivo X Fold3 is nearly 60 grams lighter.
This lightweight design gives the vivo X Fold3 an advantage in the realm of foldable smartphones, making it even lighter than some traditional non-foldable phones like the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This achievement is made possible by the carbon fiber spine hinge developed by the company, enabling large-scale production of carbon fiber and establishing a complete industry chain from raw materials to finished products.
In addition, the vivo X Fold3 also adopts the latest generation of domestic high-silicon negative electrode technology, allowing for a battery capacity of over 5000mAh to be packed into the slim body.
In terms of core specifications, the vivo X Fold3 standard version is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, while the Pro version is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 platform.
