On April 30th, NIO officially announced that its latest Global Navigation Assistance NOP+ urban route has begun full-scale deployment.

According to the official statement, after vehicles have completed the Banyan·Rong 2.6.0 version upgrade, users only need to click on Settings - Intelligent Driving - Global Navigation Assistance on the in-car system, and select Global to use this feature within the available urban area.

NIO's Global Navigation Assistance NOP+ is a navigation-assisted driving function built on the NT2.X intelligent driving software and hardware platform, along with self-developed algorithm capabilities.

This feature can assist in autonomous overtaking, speed adjustment, entering and exiting ramps, lane selection, passing through traffic lights, unprotected left and right turns on urban roads, detours, yielding to pedestrians, and giving way to other vehicles based on the navigation route set by the user.

Currently, the Global Navigation Assistance NOP+ has undergone thorough road verification through route activation, route sharing, and networked road integration, with a total verified mileage of 1,207,977 kilometers, covering 726 cities.

Among them, the verified mileage on highways and urban expressways is 360,000 kilometers, while the urban road verification mileage reaches 847,000 kilometers. s_80a66ceae88c4029ba6430b5f594ebce.png
