Retail stores can place unopened iPhones on it, and the system can wirelessly connect to and activate the iPhone, then automatically download and install the latest version of iOS, completing the software update process, and finally shutting down.
Now, as time progresses, photos have surfaced depicting a device specifically designed for upgrading the firmware of unopened iPhones.
It's reported that Apple will be launching this device in April at Apple Stores to help enhance the customer experience.
The machine is named Presto and will trigger updates wirelessly to iPhones, while also providing power support through a system.
With this upgrade, users can save around 20 minutes of system update time upon purchasing an iPhone, further enhancing the user experience.
Additionally, there have been more leaks recently about the brand-new iPhone 16 series. The latest leak showcases prototype models of the iPhone 16 series. Comparatively, the design of the iPhone 16 Pro series closely resembles its predecessors, but there will be new changes in terms of device dimensions.
