Altman clarified it wouldn't be GPT-5 or a search engine, but assured it would be something "people will love."

Despite media inquiries, OpenAI remained silent.

Subsequent reports suggested OpenAI is set to unveil an AI voice assistant with object and image recognition capabilities, surpassing current products in logical reasoning. Altman aims to make existing voice assistants, like Apple's Siri, more practical.

OpenAI has showcased the new product to select clients, demonstrating significantly improved logical reasoning compared to existing offerings.

While Altman denied the unveiling of a search engine on Monday, he didn't refute the company's development of related search products.

Rumors suggest OpenAI is actively working on its own search product to compete with Google, potentially with support from Microsoft's Bing.

According to another report, this product will feature web search capabilities and provide information sources in the results. It was also mentioned that one version of the search function could display charts or other visual aids relevant to user queries.

There are speculations that OpenAI is even trying to recruit Google employees to assist in developing this search engine.

As for the highly anticipated GPT-5 language model, it is expected to be released around this summer, as per previous reports.

Furthermore, AI enthusiasts may also be keen to see if there will be more information about OpenAI's Chief Scientist Ilya Sutskever at Monday's event. Sutskever has been nearly invisible within the company since Altman's reinstatement as CEO.
