On May 21st, TP-Link unveiled two new router models: the BE3600 (model TL-7DR3650) and the BE5100 (model TL-7DR5150), starting at a price of 279 yuan.
The BE3600 stands out as a high-performance router with its unique MLO multi-link technology. This technology enables concurrent transmission across multiple frequency bands, providing users with an unprecedented speed experience, boasting a remarkable 5.2 times speed increase compared to traditional single-frequency routers.
Its built-in gaming acceleration feature is optimized for different platforms, ensuring smoother and lower-latency gaming experiences for both gaming consoles and PCs.
To enhance the coverage of wireless networks, TP-Link has introduced the Xtra Range 2.0 technology. This innovative technology not only increases the coverage range of the 5GHz frequency band by 4.5 meters but also significantly enhances wall-penetration capabilities, optimizes weak signal handling, ensuring stable connectivity even in the network's edge areas.
The BE3600 also excels in interface configuration. It supports custom port functionality and is equipped with a dual-WAN port design, enabling internet backup functionality.
At the same time, it also supports IPTV and port aggregation, ensuring users can merge bandwidth for a faster network connection. Particularly noteworthy is the dedicated gaming port on the BE3600, further reducing gaming latency.
To facilitate users in setting up a multi-router Mesh network, the BE3600 is also equipped with a one-click "Easy Expand" feature. Users can enjoy seamless Wi-Fi coverage throughout the house with simple operation.
BE5100 is a forward-looking product that utilizes Wi-Fi 7 technology, providing users with faster and more stable network connections. Its innovative design separates digital and analog chips, with the digital chip using advanced 6-nanometer technology to improve efficiency.
The five front-end modules (FEM) within the analog chip enhance signal transmission capabilities. Combined with 3x3 MIMO technology, BE5100 is expected to achieve significant improvements in signal strength and data transmission rates.
BE5100 also offers great flexibility in interface configuration. It provides 1 2.5G high-speed port and 2 gigabit ports, allowing users to customize port functions according to their needs. When the 2.5G port is used as a WAN port, it can easily handle broadband speeds of up to 2500M; when used as a LAN port in conjunction with NAS, the NAS output will no longer be a transmission bottleneck when transferring data to multiple users on the local network.
