April 8th, reports from domestic media reveal that Toyota's global lineup of intelligent driving solutions will adopt a tripartite collaborative approach involving Toyota, Huawei, and Momenta.

Diverging from Huawei's existing ADS advanced driver assistance system, Toyota's solution entails deep collaboration and integration among the three parties, with Momenta and Huawei providing software and hardware solutions respectively.

Previously, Toyota and Huawei primarily collaborated in the field of intelligent cockpits. Last month's release of the ninth-generation Camry in the Chinese market featured a brand-new in-car system co-developed with Huawei, significantly enhancing smoothness compared to the eighth-generation model.

Toyota's collaboration with autonomous driving company Momenta traces back to March 18, 2020, when Momenta announced providing Toyota with high-precision maps and update services based on camera vision technology.

A year later, Momenta announced the completion of its Series C funding totaling $500 million, with Toyota participating as a lead investor, further deepening the cooperation between the two parties.

Reports also indicate that Toyota is expected to formally announce specific plans during the Beijing Auto Show. s_53c966dbd2e6430f94902cc9fa984e0a.png
