Recently, the 7th Zhongguancun International Frontier Technology Competition, the "Zhongguancun Bank Cup," in the new energy sector was held at the Beijing Big Data Intelligence Industry Park in Changping District. Following intense competition, 10 companies including Xi'an 1908 New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., New Source Smart Energy Development (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and Gao Neng Era (Zhuhai) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. emerged victorious, securing the prestigious title of Top 10 in the 7th Zhongguancun International Frontier Technology Competition in the new energy sector.
Currently, actively developing clean energy and promoting green and low-carbon transformation of the economy and society has become a consensus among the international community to address global climate change. Major countries worldwide have already incorporated the development of clean energy and energy storage technology into their national strategies, and the global new energy market has maintained a high-growth trend. In recent years, Beijing has actively promoted the green transformation of economic and social development, playing a demonstrative and leading role in the national carbon peak and carbon neutrality actions.
At the competition venue, 15 projects in the new energy sector competed to showcase their advancements. Against the backdrop of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, they fully demonstrated the technological strength of frontier new energy technologies in assisting the achievement of dual carbon targets. Eleven experts from universities, research institutes, investment institutions, and leading enterprises were invited to serve as judges, providing precise guidance, detailed evaluations, and fair scoring, ultimately determining the top ten in this field.
It is reported that the 7th Zhongguancun International Frontier Technology Competition, themed "Opening New Frontier Tracks, Cultivating New Development Momentum," established eight competition zones both domestically and internationally, with 3,164 companies and teams worldwide registering to participate. After layers of screening, 195 projects entered the sectoral competitions, and the winners will compete in the global finals during the Zhongguancun Forum. The event was organized by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park Management Committee, and the Changping District People's Government, with support from the Zhongguancun High-Tech Industry Promotion Center, the Zhongguancun Frontier Technology and Industry Service Alliance, and the Changping District Science and Technology Commission.
