The "2023 China's Top Ten Optical Industry Technologies" selection is chaired by Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor at Shanghai Institute of Technology, Zhuang Songlin. The expert judging panel consists of 30 renowned domestic scholars, experts from the upstream and downstream industry chains, as well as technical experts in terminal applications such as Huawei and Sunway.

This year's event received 101 technology submissions. After the initial screening, 47 technologies entered the judging and online voting stages. Ultimately, technologies such as "Sub-terahertz Narrow Linewidth External Cavity Ultra-Narrow Linewidth Semiconductor Laser" and "New Energy Vehicle Aluminum-Silicon Coating Hot-formed Steel Direct Laser-Deposition Welding Technology with Special Welding Wire" were named among China's Top Ten Optical Industry Technologies of the year. Additionally, 20 technologies, including the "Key Technology of Laser Confocal Micro-Raman Spectrometer," received nomination awards, while 6 technologies like the "New Type of Colloidal Quantum Dot Infrared Imaging Chip" won the "Popularity Award."

Noteworthy is the "Sub-terahertz Narrow Linewidth External Cavity Ultra-Narrow Linewidth Semiconductor Laser" technology, which has broken foreign monopolies and holds advantages in cost, size, wavelength range, and power consumption. It has significant application value in fields such as optical communication and optical sensing. The "New Energy Vehicle Aluminum-Silicon Coating Hot-formed Steel Direct Laser-Deposition Welding Technology with Special Welding Wire" has also shattered foreign welding technology monopolies, providing an efficient and environmentally friendly "one-step" solution for new energy vehicle manufacturing, thereby promoting the green development of the automotive industry.

The annual selection of "China's Top Ten Optical Industry Technologies" aims to unearth industrial technologies in the optical sector with the characteristics of "specialization and innovation," making outstanding contributions to the industrialization and development of China's optical industry. 664b1612e4b03b5da6d0f1d2.png Award ceremony.
