Pulsestacks reported on May 25th that peripheral manufacturer Tiny has recently launched a scroll wheel case named "tinyPod" for the Apple Watch. When the protective case is attached to the Apple Watch, users can enjoy an iPod-like operating experience using the scroll wheel on the front of the case. However, the price of this protective case is currently unknown, with the manufacturer only stating that the product will be officially released next month.
The manufacturer Tiny packages this protective case as a "digital detox product" designed to keep users away from their phones.
From ten years ago to today, there have been many manufacturers launching various crowdfunding products that "pay tribute" to the Apple iPod. Last year, pulsestacks reported that a similarly named "tribute" Tangara open-source portable music player started crowdfunding on Crowd Supply, priced at $249 (approximately 1775 RMB at the time of writing), with an estimated shipping date of September 14, 2024.
