According to the head of research and development, in terms of computing power, the "Tiangong Quantum Brain 550W" can solve mathematical problems with over 550 variables, with a coupled link scale of 150,975, which is 28 times that of the "Tiangong Quantum Brain 100." As the problem scale increases, the actual computational complexity also exponentially increases. The "Tiangong Quantum Brain 550W" has achieved, for the first time in China, the solution of a 550-node fully connected programmable Max-Cut problem in coherent light quantum computing, enabling parallel searches in a vast solution space within milliseconds, obtaining optimized solutions. This has achieved a speedup of tens of thousands of times compared to classical computing in practical application problems, with a 99% probability of finding the optimal solution.
At the 2024 Zhongguancun International Technology Trade Fair - the 5th National Natural Science Foundation Excellent Achievements Beijing Matchmaking Conference, Wang Kai, founder and CEO of Boson Quantum, signed an agreement on-site with Professor Li Shengbo's team from Tsinghua University. The algorithm has been validated on the "Tiangong Quantum Brain 550W," demonstrating its ability to solve large-scale binary optimization problems within milliseconds, providing another possible path for model training in the AI era.
