On March 18th, at Qualcomm's China event, Xiaomi's Lu Weibing also made an appearance, showcasing the strong and enduring partnership between the two companies.

According to the PPT shared by Lu Weibing at the event, Xiaomi and Qualcomm have been collaborating for 12 years, and it has been a deep partnership throughout these years. Many flagship processors have debuted through their collaboration.

For today's announcement of the third-generation Snapdragon 8s processor by Qualcomm, Xiaomi evidently has been well-prepared. Apart from the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, Redmi also has plans for such models, showing thorough preparation.

According to the official statements, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will globally debut the third-generation Snapdragon 8s, deeply integrating Xiaomi's Surge OS, bringing comprehensive improvements in imaging, performance, and AI capabilities.

It's understood that the third-generation Snapdragon 8s inherits the same CPU architecture as the third-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship platform, featuring a super core with a frequency of 3.0GHz, four performance cores with frequencies up to 2.8GHz, and three efficiency cores with frequencies of 2.0GHz.
