In North Carolina, USA, a more terrifying incident than a horror story unfolded recently. A three-year-old girl named Saylor insisted there were ghosts in the walls of her room. At first, her parents didn't believe her, dismissing it as just something she picked up from cartoons. They even gave her a bottle of "monster spray" for protection.
However, over the following months, Saylor continued to claim that there was something in the walls. It was only then that her parents realized something was amiss. They noticed an increasing number of bees around their home and heard buzzing sounds.
They eventually called in a beekeeper to investigate. The professional quickly identified the issue: a large number of bees were entering the attic above the girl's room.
Using a thermal imaging camera, they discovered a massive beehive weighing 45 kilograms inside the wall of the child's bedroom. Bees were entering through a coin-sized hole in the attic vent, spending eight months constructing a vast bee empire housing over 60,000 bees.
When the wall was opened, the bees swarmed out, creating a scene more terrifying than any ghostly encounter.
As local bees are protected, they had to be carefully removed. Typically, a vacuum-like device is used to suck up the bees and relocate them to a bee sanctuary. With such a large number of bees, the removal process would likely take several days. During the cleanup, the parents found honey and bee carcasses throughout the room. The bees had damaged the house's wiring, resulting in repair costs exceeding $20,000.
