According to the report, the 5G-A sensing integrated technology combines communication, perception, and computing to prevent airport intrusions. It can automatically identify and warn of potential security risks.
Traditionally, airport runway intrusion prevention relies on manual inspections and radar systems, which have blind spots and can experience equipment power outages.
With the monitoring platform connected to the 5G-A base station, it can real-time sense and track unmanned aerial vehicles, birds, vehicles, and personnel activities within the airport area in low-altitude scenarios.
Combined with artificial intelligence technology, the perceived data can be analyzed and processed more accurately to identify objects and related activities.
Previously, the perception of unmanned aerial vehicles on flight routes could only achieve real-time tracking and presentation. With the introduction of 5G-A technology, it can also achieve trajectory prediction and behavior prediction, providing early warnings before drone route deviations or collisions occur.
