On April 22nd, it was reported that vivo is set to introduce its in-house imaging brand BlueImage, expected to debut officially on the upcoming vivo X100 Ultra.

The launch of the in-house imaging brand BlueImage by vivo signifies the birth of the second independent imaging brand in the smartphone industry, following Huawei's XMAGE.

According to publicly available information, vivo applied to register the BlueImage trademark on November 14, 2023, covering various imaging-related items such as graphics processors, optical lenses, sensors, and more.

As per previous leaks, the vivo X100 Ultra smartphone is expected to be launched in May, featuring a rear triple-camera setup including a 200-megapixel periscope ultra-telephoto lens equipped with a Zeiss APO telephoto lens, supporting up to 200x digital zoom.

Moreover, the X100 Ultra's primary rear camera is upgraded to the Sony LYT900, featuring a complete 1-inch large sensor with a pixel count of 50 million and a single pixel size of 1.6μm.

Compared to the IMX989, the LYT900 reduces power consumption by 43% and expands the dynamic range to 14EV, which is 9.5 times that of the IMX989, preserving richer details in both highlights and shadows.

In terms of core specifications, the vivo X100 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform, featuring a Samsung 2K E7 centered hole-punch AMOLED curved screen, supporting 1-120Hz LTPO and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0422%2Fd1a4bb73j00scboxl000md000go00b3g.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg
