On March 9th, digital blogger Tech Chat Zone hinted that Xiaomi is in the testing phase for an exploratory flagship smartphone.
This device boasts three core technologies: high-resolution under-display multi-camera, virtual magnetic force touch, and extreme BM narrow bezels, making it an "ultimate design" super flagship.
Among these, what's catching the attention of Mi fans the most is the "extreme BM narrow bezels." Essentially, Xiaomi has eliminated an additional layer of screen structure, adopting an "industry-leading high screen-to-body ratio form factor," resulting in bezel widths almost equivalent to BM black edges, creating a more stunning visual effect.
In simple terms, it achieves a virtually borderless display on all four sides. The challenge with this technology lies in its low yield rate, which Xiaomi is currently testing.
It's worth noting that this flagship with "ultimate design" is not a new product in the MIX series. Previously, Tech Chat Zone hinted that this year's MIX series will still feature a foldable screen form factor. However, this flagship will inherit the essence of the MIX series, reviving the glory of the MIX straight-screen flagship.
Although not part of the MIX series, these innovative technological advancements are all laying the foundation for the MIX series. The future MIX straight-screen flagship will debut with a disruptive form factor, revolutionizing the consumer experience.
