On April 10th, Redmi held a product launch event tonight, unveiling the first model of its all-new Turbo series – the Turbo 3.
The Redmi Turbo 3 is powered by the third generation Snapdragon 8 chipset, jointly defined by Xiaomi and Qualcomm. It scores over 1.75 million points on AnTuTu V10 benchmark, putting it at the top of the performance charts.
Although the clock speed is slightly lower than that of the second-generation Snapdragon 8, according to Wang Teng, the general manager of the Redmi brand, the performance of the third-generation Snapdragon 8s has matched that of the second-generation Snapdragon 8.
The third-generation Snapdragon 8s is built on TSMC's 4nm process, featuring the same CPU architecture as the third-generation Snapdragon 8. It supports large-scale models with billions of parameters, an 18-bit triple ISP, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, and lossless high-definition audio.
Additionally, the Redmi Turbo 3 is equipped with the HyperEngine 3.0 and IceSeal cooling system, ensuring a gaming experience that remains uncompromised: no reduction in graphics quality, brightness, or frame rate.
